'Snap, snap', 'scribble, scribble'. Today we went on a fieldtrip to Queens Park, Countdown, The Library and Wachner place and all around town. We had to take photos and write down some of the patterns we saw. The different typs of patterns are beauty, order, strength and survivability. I was partners with Luke on the trip. Luke wrote down the types of patterns we saw and I took the photos. If you didn't know, there are lots of patterns, in fact, MILLIONS of patterns, no, there are patterns EVERYWHERE. Yes, they are all around you. Like wheels on car is for beauty, and the stripes on a zebra are for survivability. But its not like you're going to see one of those around town anyway. Well, you shouldn't see one around town unless the zebra is blind and swam from Africa to New Zealand. But anyway, I think I've run out of letters so all I can say is..... The end.

Passion Time
What is your passion? Can you use this time wisely? How will you display it?
These are some of the questions we got asked when we were deciding what our passion projects would be. I thought, and thought and thought. I could not think of what I could do for a passion project. That's when a lightbulb flashed in my head. I could finish off my story from last year, "The unheared story of Goldilocks and the three.... Okay, I might not know what to put there yet, as I need a pretty large NZ animal for my bears. I'm thinking about tuatara, na, too small. If you have any ideas what I could use it would be more than helpful. My story is like Goldilocks and the three bears, but in a NZ way, and, It's about Goldilocks's aspect of the scene. Like her mothers away to get some wood for the fire and she runs out of kiwifruit so she goes to see the to get some kiwifruit and so on. To display my story I will probably make an animation or something and enter it in the MADE Awards.

The realm of Blokus
Defend your tower, defeat your enemies and win in this very challenging game called...
THE REALM OF BLOKUS. I, Jake the jaguar, Miro the monkey and Max F the meerkat are in battle against Blokus the bat. To play you must be able to keep your territory, get into others domains and take their village. We are a team named J.M.M trying desperately to try and defeat Blokus. The rules of the game are to make sure your pieces are always diagonal to your other pieces. Your pieces can touch others pieces as well. The aim of the game is to try and trap your opponents, ( which in our case is Blokus) so they cannot put another piece in place. Today, the J.M.M team finally defeated Blokus and earned the placings of village knights for our bravery and thinking.
